How To Think Positive And Why You Still Fail
You have to think positive. After all, you are on your way to becoming a better person and giving your life a turnaround.
Positivity, happiness, success.
As long as you stay positive everything is going to manifest exactly as you want.
Except for those times when you simply get that angry that you cannot hold it any longer. You actually start to feel stressed in trying to stay positive all the time.
And then it happens.
You failed again, just like before.
You simply can’t help yourself. You want to think positive but you just start to feel different and no matter how hard you try, you positive mood is gone.
Your body does not listen to your mind.
This is when you start to look for tips on how to stay positive.
The tips you find are all good, except for the fact that they are not working, at least not for long.he problem is, it is not going to work. Again.
Because they miss one essential aspect which I am going to tell you in this post.
Don’t miss this information, otherwise, the 18 tips on how to think positive at the end of this post are not going to work again.
What I am going to tell you has the potential to change your life, if you allow yourself to adopt the idea.

So let’s get right into it:
Why Positive Thinking Is Not Changing Your Reality
There is something that the “positive thinkers” don’t tell you, maybe because they can’t. That is why no matter how positive you think and feel you keep always falling back into misery and negativity. Things start to go well first and you are full of positive energy and focus.
But then this is what happens:
The more positive you try to be, the worse it gets.
The more you focus on the bright side of life, the more you are reminded by all sort of negativity around you.
And the more you chant the “stay positive mantra” the sooner you will realize you are basically lying to yourself.
So, no matter how hard you try to deny it:
“Something is rotten in the state of Denmark” (No offense here to Danish people :-))
Before long you will find yourself questioning everything nd feel desperate. You just want to give up and ask yourself: Why is this always happening to me?
Reality will come back and hit you hard. But this time harder than before.
It will remind you that things are not positive at all. This is the moment when you start to look for “How to think positive” tips. They may cheer you up for a while only to start a new cycle.
This up and down goes on for all of your life.
And you call it faith or higher destiny.
To some extent, this might even be true, but only to remind you that you have the power to master your reality.
This up and down is teaching you something. It is part of your destiny to understand a certain lesson.
Once you do, it will stop. If not, it will go on and on throughout this life and those to come.
Now how can you get out of this dilemma and think positive?
I will share it soon with you, but before let me tell you this:
The more you want, the worse it gets!
The problem with wanting something badly is this:
We focus so much on the positive part that we deny to accept the negative part as well. We live in a polar world where everything has its opposite: plus/minus, left/right, active/passive you name it.
Do you agree on that? – Think about it.
This duality of things is part of the Hermetic Principles. If you are unfamiliar with the Hermetic Principles I recommend you to make them part of your knowledge base and to learn more about them and to use them in your daily life.
But don’t stop there. Integrating these principles in your daily life and living them will help you to understand what is going on with you and the world. If you are not aware of them they still work but probably not to your advantage.
Here is how we can apply the Principle of Polarity to our problem with the positive thinking:
Principle of Polarity
The Principle of Polarity will always exist and work around you. No matter how spiritually evolved you are, you won’t be able to escape this principle. But you can transform it so that you are no longer creating your own illusory reflections that are governed by this principle.
Whatever you do or feel has an effect on the outer world and will create a correspondent reflection.
Depending on your inner tuning this reflection may be positive or negative (in a polar comprehension).
What do I mean by that?
This is what you have to understand:
No matter how good or bad something seems to be, it is only one aspect of one and the same thing and couldn’t exist without the other.
Everything is connected; one side of the coin couldn’t exist without the other, right? Could there be a left side without the right side?
Creating the polar opposite
By focusing on the positive you first create all sorts of wonderful things. Everything goes with ease. Then something not so perfect might happen and you get your first doubts.
Then you start to behave in a way that creates an energetic counterbalance. And the more you move on, the bigger the counterweight becomes until you finally can’t handle it anymore. This is when you slide back in the negativity.
Imagine a huge pendulum which you try to push on the “positive” side. The more you push the heavier it gets until it finally has to come back into negativity. And you go with it.
So, how to apply this knowledge in your daily life? How to get out of this dilemma?
Stop running away from the “negative side” of things and acknowledge that they are part of one and the same thing.
Everything is connected. The moment you stop running away from the negative pole will make you feel at peace.
This is a very liberating experience and will ease the rhythmic up and down in your life. Out of the center of this duality, you can create the life that you want.
How to do that?
Actually, it takes only one conscious breath to free yourself from the duality. You are no longer pushed back and forth between the good and the bad.
You no longer set the cause (law of cause and effect) of the rhythmic up and down. You no longer create an imbalance on one side that has to create the same imbalance on the other side.
Rest in a state of inner balance and raise your vibration. The higher your frequency gets, the more you are getting centered. You could call this an asymptotic approximation towards a happy medium. Notice that there is no limit to the height of the frequency.
I tried to display what I am talking about in the model below. I don’t want to get too technical here, but I think the engineer in me got me this time (trying to break free :-)).
I don’t claim that this is correct but this is what I have in mind when I think of frequency and vibration. I hope it may illustrate what I was trying to describe above. This is only a 2D model and cannot represent the complexity of reality. But try to keep this picture in your mind if you feel that things start to go wrong again. This is just a metaphor but it may help you to see that all cosmic laws are interconnected.

Notice that the amplitude is representing the polarity. With an increased frequency your energy levels rise as well. The blue bar represents a very high frequency in this resolution. Zooming in would move this bar to the right.
You can also imagine this simplified as a sphere with its highest frequency in the center. This center of your being is actually your heart chakra.
Fine Tuning Of Your Vibrational State
The vibration you create will be a multidimensional wave pattern with the highest frequency in the center. The waves radiating “outwards” are causing everything around you to vibrate at the same frequency. This is how the law of attraction works.
Raising your vibration will end the duality in your experienced reality and allow only things into your life that have an equally high frequency. This works the other way as well of course.
Feel your heart (chakra)
Your heart chakra allows you to feel vibrations. When you feel a drop of your vibration in your heart chakra, then you can simply go back into a higher state, thus being unaffected by external events.
When you are in a shock or suddenly realize that something awful happened, you can feel how your “heart is sinking”. This is nothing else than the frequency drop that you can sense. However, most of us have become so numb that we feel only the really bad stuff. We can’t sense little nuances that could indicate us where we stand at a vibrational level.

We have built thick walls around our hearts to protect us. This is the reason why things have to get severely out of hand before we can sense that something is wrong. We may not wake up before we see the world around us falling apart.

Use your heart to measure your vibrational state. And realize that the principle of vibration is the only tool that you need to focus on in order to become your greatest version.
What is the difference between “human” love and unconditional universal love?
The Spanish translation for “I love you” is: “Te quiero”. Querer means also wanting something, which always comes from the mind (See also: How to find peace in the mind). This actually describes the common human interpretation of love. If I love you, I own you, like a property. If I don’t own you, I don’t love you.

“Human” love is governed by the principle of duality. This means it has an opposite: hatred. The more you love someone the more you can hate him at the same time.

You might be full of jealousy and hatred. This goes as far as killing each other.
Why did you kill me? Because (deep down) I love you!
Does this make sense?
Well, in the light of duality: Yes.
Now, why does it make sense even it shouldn’t?
Because this concept is a product of our mind.
Our mind wants to have and possess, it analyzes and has to understand. Things have to make sense. The mind creates the illusion of separation because it is part of the physical reality.
Would the same statement make sense when you are in your heart space, in an inner state of balance and peace beyond duality?
No, it doesn’t, because you start to see the bigger picture. With your actions, you are trying to teach me something at a deeper level of understanding. And my reaction on it can teach you something as well.

If someone is shouting at you, how do you react?
- You can shout back and see yourself as being right. This equals separation, duality (I am right/you are wrong), rhythmic up and down in our lives, and therefore, causes a low vibrational state far away from being enlightened.
- Or, you see that everything is connected and that you attracted this situation. Something inside of you is still unsolved, and it will bring you in the same kind of situations over and over again, each time a bit more severe, until you can transform it. Everything around you is a reflection of what is still inside of you, as within so without. Again, you can try to run away from it, but as you learned above, this will make it only stronger, and it has to catch you eventually.
We have forgotten how to stop thinking and feel with our hearts instead. True unconditional love would do just that: Love unconditionally. The sun shines for all of us, all the time.

I don’t have to like what you are doing, but nothing is important enough to bring me out of my state of inner peace and love. If you still get out, try to understand why. Try to find the answer within yourself. This is the only way to transform and heal it for you. This will increase your vibrational state. The more your transform the LIGHT-er you become and the easier it is for you to keep that state. This way you reach a state of inner peace (with lots of positive thoughts on top of it :-))

After we covered so much stuff and because you are still reading, here are some tips that can help you to see things not in such a “bad” light and that help you to gain back your inner state of peace.
How To Think Positive
1. Love yourself 100%
This is the single most important step on how to think positive. If you don’t love yourself, how can you love others? This is not about loving your ego.
It is seeing you as wonderful, unique, and divine spirit. You are connected with everything, yet there is only one like you in the whole universe, and no one has the same abilities that you have.
You are a very important part of this universe that wouldn’t exist without you and you have a very important role to play on this planet.
Find out who you truly are, what your life purpose is and how you can help to raise the frequency of the planet by raising your one first. Move into your heart space and you will see the world in a completely new LIGHT.
2. Understand and transform polarity
Now we know that we shouldn’t run away from the negativity because this will only make it stronger.
Become centered without falling back and forth between positive and negative life events. This means also to face your fears. Whatever you focus on grows. And with F-E-A-R being false evidence appearing real you actually create what you fear. Ask yourself: How is it serving me being fearful all the time? Do you want to run away for the rest of your life or do you want to be free?

3. Eat healthy
Notice that you are what you eat. A plant based diet with fruits and vegetables will keep you light and energized. Avoid processed food, soda and lots of sugar. After the initial spike of your blood sugar level comes the drop which will make you feel even worse.
4. Take responsibility
You are responsible for how you feel. Learn how to feel peace within yourself and learn to live in the present moment. So stop being a victim and create the life that you want. Instead of complaining of what you hate, focus on building what you love and inspire other with who you are.
5. Help someone
Helping others is at least as beneficial as getting helped. The same applies to gifts: Giving them is as enjoyable as receiving them.
6. Play and have fun
Don’t take life and everything so seriously. We are here to have fun and to enjoy life in its greatest form and abundance. This is why we came here.
Awake the inner child in you again and be like a child, they are much wiser than we are. Why? They live in the moment and don’t care about tomorrow. Now is the time to live, and only the present moments holds an infinite potential of possibilities.
7. Read positive quotes

8. Exercise your body

Turn off the television which “tells lies to your vision” and the TV program that programs all the bad news from the world into your brain.

10. Listen to soothing 432 Hz music
Notice that the most harmonious frequency is 432 Hz. Most instruments are still pitched to a frequency of 440 Hz. This was implemented intentionally to create disharmony among humans.
You should keep this in mind when you think about what music to listen to.
I put together a small playlist of 432 Hz music on YouTube. Listen and feel how beautiful this music sounds. This will definitely give you positive thoughts. But don’t forget to stop thinking for a while. Can you actually FEEL the harmony?
Another possibility is to listen to brainwave entrainment music.
11. Stop bad habits
Ever wanted to stop negative thinking patterns? The main problem is your subconscious mind that stores all your habits and belief systems and replays them whenever triggered to do so.
We are literally living on autopilot all the time and don’t know how to let go of the past.
The past is what determines our actions and habits unless we get aware of our thoughts and behavior through observation.
12. Reconnect back to nature
Get yourself out there, take off your shoes and walk across the grass. This will ground and reconnect you to mother earth. Her name is Terra and she is a living being. By putting your feet on the ground you reconnect to her.
Listen to the birds praising the sun and see the squirrels dancing around the trees. You will notice that each creature on earth is living in abundance and in peaceful harmony.
Nature is not cruel and does not need to be ruled or tamed. Just enjoy the riches it provides with its delicious fruits that are perfectly designed to meet all of our nutritional needs.
13. Be grateful
There are more things to be grateful for that you can think of. An attitude of gratitude can help you let gratitude help you to get full control over your life.
14. Have children
Having children can be a lot of fun. Making them too (ask the stork).
15. Surround yourself with positive people
Don’t listen to other people’s negative stories and gossiping. Help them if you can but don’t let your energy level get drained by it. Stay centered.
Watch out for people that you can learn from and that achieved something that you want also.
Don’t fight the system. Help to create the new world. Earth and humanity are rising, become a part of i.
Start with finding out what is missing in your life and how you can find it.
Smile for no reason for two minutes and you will feel better. Give other people a smile.
You can meditate all day if you want to but it is not necessary. Tell your mind to focus on your breath whenever you think of it. This will silence it. You control your mind, don’t let it control you and find peace in your mind.
